Sabotage (formerly known as Nifty Shades of Grey) are a Frodsham-based band who specialise in an eclectic mix of classic rock and pop covers from Simon and Garfunkel right through to Robin Thicke and Swedish House Mafia. They formed in 2014 and bonded over a mutual love of music, and also a shared desire to find an excuse to regularly escape their wives and children.
For the Singathon, Sabotage will perform a stripped-back acoustic set as their rhythm section powerhouses of Richard White (bass, mandolin & ukulele) and Paul Vrinder (drums) will be absent to star in the LGB&T Pride event in Wythenshawe.
Nevertheless an exciting is set is guaranteed with singer Richard Halliday, guitarist Neil Fitzgerald and cajon-player / trumpeter Bransby McDonald Williams all keen to join in the Singathon fun.
And as with all of their concerts – they’re bound to bring a tear to the eye of many of the audience!
